Flight route from Serengeti (SEU) to Zanzibar (ZNZ)
Serengeti to Zanzibar is one of the most popular travel destinations. The trip is though time-consuming even by air it is worth taking a shot. Distance and time required
The distance is approximately 900km which will take about 2 hours and 50 minutes from one airport to another.
Road travel is the other option which is not recommended at all. It is because as soon as you hit the road you will be traveling for 22 hours to cover the 1100km distance. If you are not short on time and love adventure, then this route is recommended. This route is generally not taken by the tourists as they want to get to their destination in a fast and timely manner.

Ngorongoro Conversation Area is the most important flight attraction which you will be seeing from above. The Ndutu Plains and the other two large craters i.e. Olmoti and Empakai are also visible. The airport is just 10km away from Stone Town. If you want to wait for some time, then the airport also has a wide array of restaurants and the coffee shops to choose from. The airport is located on the West Coast of Zanzibar. As it is always busy so it is easy to find the rental car services so that you can easily approach your destination. The shuttles and buses are also available for hire.
Mnemba Atoll is one of the best destinations to choose from. The best part of this area of Zanzibar is snorkeling. You can both rent the equipment or bring your own to enjoy the time. The total cost of the snorkeling here is around $25. Mnemba island itself is private property and therefore the boats will drop anchor at a safe distance. Once here you can explore the reefs and snorkel. Before heading back to Zanzibar mainland there is one last stop at the remote island where the guides usually prepare delicious barbeque.
Visit the Prison Island where you can see the giant turtles. These can be fed under careful supervision. It has a close approach from the Stone Town of Zanzibar and a boat can be hired to do the needful.
