GENERAL POLICY

  • The liability of the Company in respect of the carriage of passengers is subject to the rules and limitations relating to liability established by the Warsaw Convention as applied in Tanzania and by the complete Terms and Conditions listed on the website.

  • The conditions of carriage relating to the limits of liability of the carrier for death or personal injury and in respect of loss of or damage to baggage are subject to the provisions of Montreal Conventions 1999 and the Tanzania Civil Aviation Carriage by air regulations 2008.

  • The Company undertakes to use its best efforts to carry the passenger and his/her baggage with reasonable dispatch, but no time is fixed for the commencement or completion of carriage. Subject thereto, the Company may, without prior notice, substitute, alternate carriers, or aircraft and may alter or omit the stopping place previously agreed upon. Times indicated on brochures/Timetable & E-tickets are approximate and not guaranteed.

  • The Company may change or cancel its Schedule flight with reasonable prior notice to the registered clients and their agents.

  • The Company is not responsible for any direct or consequential costs resulting from any cancellation or delays to its services. Connecting passengers must make sure that their layover to the next flight is minimum 3Hrs or more.

BAGGAGE POLICY

  • Only 1pc of (20 kg Max – No Multiple bags allowed) SOFT luggage is permitted per passenger to be checked in. No oversized, hard shell or aluminum suitcase allowed to be checked in due to limitation of aircraft hold space.

  • No trolley bags or oversized backpacks allowed as hand luggage due to limited overhead compartment space. Overboard hand carry is limited to 5Kg ONLY. (These could be medicines, laptops, cameras, and personal documents)

  • Excess baggage is available at the following fees per person:
    0-5Kg – USD50/-
    5-10Kg – USD100/-
    10-15Kg – USD150/-
    15-20kg – USD200/- (Maximum excess baggage allowed)

  • The Company does not carry un-accompanied baggage.

TERMS & CONDITION OF CARRIAGE

  • Check in counter opens 2Hrs prior to Scheduled flight departure time in Dar Es Salaam International airport terminal 2, Abeid Amani Karume Airport in Zanzibar and Arusha Municipal Airport.

  • Serengeti and all unmanned airstrips are opened 60 minutes prior to flight departure time.

  • All Destinations (Airports and Unmanned Airstrips) check in counter closes 30 minutes prior to schedule takeoff time.

  • The Company reserves the right to depart ahead of its schedule departure time after closure of its counter.

BOOKING & DATE CHANGE POLICY

  • Booking date change & Cancellation allowed Free of Charge for unissued tickets only. For issued tickets, a date change or revalidation fee of USD20 per ticket applies (adult & Child) this must be done at least 48Hrs PRIOR to Departure Date and Time, subject to availability.

  • Our tickets are non-refundable once issued and are valid to travel within 3 months of its issued date. Passenger is considered NO SHOW after the check in counter is closed and or aircraft departed. The ticket is non-refundable and will not be allowed for any re-validation.

  • Oversized passenger above 300lbs / 136kgs MUST buy 2 tickets to occupy the entire row of seats due to the limitation of seat space.

CHILD POLICY

  • Infants are considered under 2 years of age do not occupy seat; they pay 10% of the adult fare.

  • Child is considered between 2 years to 10 years of age are carried at 90% of the adult GROSS/WEB fare.

  • Passenger(s) are required to show their passport or picture ID for identification at the check in counter for checking in.

PETS

  • Carriage of Pets is permitted on scheduled flights with a nominal fee of USD25 for domestic flights only, the pet must be in an approved container/cage and vaccination certificate must be provided. Depending on the size of the cage the animal may be placed in the cargo section.

Wheelchair passengers will be charged an extra fee of USD12/- as SERVICE CHARGE.

Onward and returning passengers will be required to reconfirm their bookings 24-48 hours prior to departure. This is due to the fact that the Time Table reflects approximate time only.
