Tanzania has some of the most amazing views of anywhere in the world.   2. Meru Trekking: This is a lovely mountain that is the fifth highest on the continent of Africa and is the second highest in Tanzania. The mountain is a predominant landmark as well in the Arusha park and it has huge cliffs. The mountain is thought of as one of the best areas for warming up when you are planning to climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro. There are many animals that you will see when you are hiking up the mountain and you will be accompanied by a park ranger as you are working on your hike.
  3. Ngorongoro Highlands Trekking: This is an area that will take your though the highlands and allow you to look at the people and the savannah. It is an area that is full of animals and ensures that you will meet all the local people as well in your hike.

 

Where Should I Go Hiking in the Country?

 

When you have looked at all these options, the most popular and w well known is Mt. Kilimanjaro. There are six official routes that you can take, and they vary in time from 5 to 10 days depending on where you go. There is less that is known about Mt. Meru, but this is the location to hike if you want to see the best variety of animals the countryside has to offer. There are many other mountains as well that you can choose from.

 

Even hikers who are not planning to go to the summit will love Tanzania, as it is one of those places that will allow you to appreciate the majesty and the beauty of everything around. There is an amazing 3-to-5-day trek as well that can be taken through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There are breathtaking views along the entire journey and there are so many things to do that will leave you very happy with your choices.
